Research / Professional Specialty
Hydrogeophysics and geochemistry: I study aqueous geochemistry and dynamics of fluid in the lithosphere; fluid transport in volcanic island hydrothermal systems; interactions between groundwater and geothermal sources; heat, mineral and electrolytic contributions to anomalous electrical conductors; groundwater resource management, and climate change impacts to hydrothermal systems and sedimentary basin aquifers.
Methods: I conduct electromagnetic and self-potential geophysical surveys, perform laboratory electrical resistivity experiments, perform borehole hydraulic tests and geophysical surveys and inverse modeling.
